If there is one pickup truck that I would really love to have, it would be a Ford F-150 Raptor. Why not? The Raptor is basically the most extreme half-ton truck there is. So, this time I’m building my own 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor using an online configurator.
A SuperCrew In Rapid Red Finish
I’ll start off by picking a SuperCrew version of the 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor with a 5 1/2-ft box. Power is provided by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology. Up to 450 hp of output and 510 lb.-ft. of torque is sent to all four wheels via an electronic 10-Speed Automatic Transmission.
Price at this point is $57,785, but I opted for Rapid Red color finish for an additional $395, so the tag rose to $58,180.
802A Luxury Package With Leather Seats
Then, the configurator made me pick some packages for my Raptor. I opted for the 802A Luxury Package ($10,920) that includes the half-ton equipment and other elements. For instance, the package includes a heated steering wheel, leather-seating surfaces and inflatable rear safety belts.
